PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) – Opening arguments are slated to begin in the trial of a Pensacola area woman accused of brutally killing a teenager in 2010. Investigators said the victim, 19-year-old Audreanna Zimmerman, was beaten with a crowbar, shocked with a stun gun and set on fire. She died nearly two weeks later at the hospital. Investigators allege 41-year-old Tina Brown, her daughter and another woman killed Zimmerman during an argument over a man. The Pensacola News Journal (http://lb.vg/4sg66 ) reported Brown is charged with first-degree murder. She could face the death penalty or life in prison if convicted. One of the women pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge last year and will testify in Brown’s trial as part of her plea agreement. ___ Information from: Pensacola News Journal, http://www.pensacolanewsjournal.com(Copyright 2012 The associated Press.
